2020 Christmas Home Tour
Welcome to my 2020 Christmas home tour! I’m joining several other blogging friends today who are each sharing their cozy Christmas décor. Be sure to scroll all the way down to see who else is joining me today and every other day this week! Special thanks to Krista at The Happy Housie for hosting once again!
I’ll be sharing a glimpse into my home’s décor as well as my RV, all decked out for Christmas. The entire tour is set up like a loop, so a special welcome to you if you are dropping in after visiting Life is Better at Home! I’m so happy you’re here and hope you’ll stay awhile before heading to the next stop on our tour, This is Our Bliss.
Tropical Vibes
After the crazy year we have all had, my decorating style has kind of taken on a mind of its own. When life is stressful and overwhelming, I always picture myself somewhere warm and long for the calming sound of the ocean. Unknowingly, this longing for my own personal paradise has crept into our Christmas décor! My all-time favorite place to visit is Hawaii, but Florida and the beaches of South Carolina have also played a huge part in our lives. Don’t get me wrong, I love living in Michigan, but when the weather turns cold, I dream of warm breezes and palm trees.
Pink and Orange, but Make it Christmas
To be perfectly honest, this look was created by accident. Our storage area is completely disorganized and all my Christmas decorations were out of reach. I grabbed whatever I could find without moving everything out of the way! The poinsettias were purchased new this year at Walmart, but I’ve linked some similar ones below. I dried oranges and strung them on the tree, having no idea how popular they would be this year! I really wanted a happy combination of pinks and oranges, but make it Christmas.

The Year I Let the Kids Decorate the Yard
2020 is the year I finally just let the kids go to town on the outside decorating (I’ve also let them do all the holiday baking, but that’s another story). We’ve always done a few, tasteful decorations… but 2020 isn’t tasteful. 2020 needs a little a LOT of Christmas, and the Lemp kids are bringing it. And really, what Christmas is complete without a life-size ATAT next to a nativity scene?
Christmas in the Camper
One of my all time favorite things to do each year, is decorate our camper! Because we renovate RVs, I’ve had a different one to decorate every year. This year, we planed a trip to Disney World in November and camped at Fort Wilderness Campground. We were there for the very start of all the holiday festivities and we took all our Christmas decorations with us!

Merry Christmas from Our Family to Yours!
I hope you’ve enjoyed dropping in at my home for Christmas. With how much time we are spending at home this year, I think it’s even more special to have a cozy place to dwell and celebrate the season with those closest to you. Our family has faced some significant losses this year. We’ve said “goodbye for now” to both of my Grandmothers within the last couple months. 2020 has held plenty of grief, anxiety and other kinds of loss. I hope you and your family are able to cling to hope this holiday season and find comfort in the midst of whatever challenges you are facing. How wonderful that after such a difficult year, we’re able to end it with Christmas, the season of hope.
“The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned. For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

I have a camper obsession and want to own one so badly. Love that this one has a kitchen island. It looks amazing and so does the rest of the tour. Merry Christmas
