Vintage Glitter Houses
My friend and I had been planning a vintage glitter house making party since last year. Something so epic needed lots of mental preparation. We thought about it too late last year, so we had resolved to get on it nice and early this time around! I figured they would go beautifully with my white Christmas tree this year! I just LOVE the beautiful vintage pastels against the white tree and white lights. We made some larger houses out of cardboard, including my teal church pictured here. I discovered it was way easier to print out a template onto card stock and cut it out! Use my free template.
Supplies
Here are the supplies you will want to gather to make a glitter house:
- Cardboard or cardstock/heavy paper
- Scissors
- Tape and hot glue or glue sticks
- Craft paint and brushes
- Colored glitter
- Decorative snow
- Battery operated tea lights
- Bottle brush trees (I found mine at Walmart for 75 Cents each)
Glitter is not for the faint of heart. It will get messy!
