DIY Dollar Store Wreath
I’m a big fan of Dollar Stores, Dollar Tree in particular. Who isn’t? Where we live, there is a Dollar Tree on almost every corner, and the kids and I frequent them at least a couple times a week.
There are things that I regularly buy from the Dollar Tree, and things that I stay away from. For example, I don’t usually buy their flowers. I’m picky about my silk flowers because they can easily look cheap and tacky, but when I was there yesterday, this greenery caught my eye!

What You Need
All my supplies to create this wreath came from the Dollar Tree. If you hurry, you may be able to find these exact flowers! Sometimes, if you speak with a manager they can even order them for you. You can also order online at dollartree.com
- Wreath form
- Several clusters of greenery (I used about 3)
- 1 cluster of pink flowers
- 2 clusters of smaller white flowers
- 2 clusters of small “filler” flowers or baby’s breath
- Glue gun and glue
- Wire cutters

What to do
Cut greenery stems to about 1 1/2 inches and space them evenly around the wreath form. I slowly circle back around, adding more greenery until I have a nice, full base. Once I have all my greenery in place, I add the larger flowers!
TIP: I almost always cut the leaves off of my dollar store flowers. If you’re buying a cluster of leaves by themselves they are fine. But the leaves that come attached to a flower are almost always cheap looking. Get rid of them!
Add smaller flowers after large ones are in place. Then, lastly, add in the little “filler flowers” as I call them. These are really there to highlight and pop, but you don’t need too many. Have fun!

I am the absolute WORST at considering the dollar store when creating projects, but your wreath is absolutely stunning! It’s the perfect project for summer and totally feels like an oasis. Fun participating in this hop with you – pinning to my wreath board to share! xo Tauni
