Fleetwood Wilderness Transformation
Today I am featuring another amazing transformation from a member of my camper renovating Facebook Group!! The Details
This particular renovation was done by Rachael Hawkins. Rachael has done a fabulous job of updating this outdated Fleetwood Wilderness. Though 2002 doesn’t seem like that long ago, it’s old enough to lack serious style. Rachael brought a fresh new look to this travel trailer and I hope she is incredibly proud of the work she has done! This was Rachael’s first renovation and they plan on using it as a family. Rachael dreams of one day renovating a skoolie!

Here are a few of the details and items Rachael used in this renovation.
- Green paint: Essex Green by Sherwin Williams
- Walls: Simply White by Benjamin Moore
- Black paint on bunks: Tricorn Black by Sherwin Williams
- Countertops: Real butcher block with medium walnut stain
- Flooring: Lifeproof vinyl
- Shiplap walls: 1/4″ plywood ripped to 6″ boards
They removed the original dinette and couch, painted walls and cabinets, traded the original window treatments in for curtains, changed light fixtures, hardware and décor! This is still a work in progress and Rachael continues to make updates as they prepare for their first camping trip.
